What is Hylomar Universal Blue?

Hylomar Universal Blue is a non-setting gasket and joining compound which is used to seal joint faces or threaded parts. 

This polyester urethane based sealant allows for an unlimited assembly time and is non-hardening even at high temperatures. The sealant also resists a wide range of fluids including industrial fuels, oils, gasoline, methanol/water mixtures and more. 

The non-setting element of this gasket compound makes it ideal for MRO applications allowing for easy dismantling for service and repairs. Universal Blue is also idea for automotive applications being vibration resistant, non-flammable, and offering a wide operating temperature range from -50°C to +250°C.
